DTF Film Sheets – A4, A3 & 13×19

Standard DTF transfer film sheets are 75μm PET, double-sided matte, with hot or cold peel. Final press settings depend on your ink, powder and fabric; confirm them with our team before production.

When to Choose Sheets

Use sheets for sheet-fed printers, small batches and pre-cut sizes; choose DTF film rolls for continuous production and higher volume.

A4 vs A3 vs 13×19

The DTF film size chart below lists each DTF film size in inches and centimeters. A4 sheets are the smallest standard size, suited to small logos and kids' sizes. A3 is the common size for adult T-shirt graphics. 13×19 gives more room for larger designs and multi-piece layouts.

For T-shirts, A3 is the common size for adult fronts and A4 for logos. If you are unsure which size fits your printer, send your printer model and layout size.

Which Side Do You Print On?

Print on the coated side of the sheet. If you are unsure which side is coated, test a small sheet before a production run.

Hot Peel vs Cold Peel

A3 sheets can be ordered in 100-sheet quantities with either peel type. Choose hot peel for speed or cold peel when the design needs more cooling time before the carrier is removed. Specify when ordering. See the hot peel vs cold peel DTF film guide for the full comparison.

PET Film Sheets

DTF film A3 and A4 sheets use the same PET carrier and double-sided matte coating. PET film sheets for DTF are available in A4, A3 and 13×19.

Printer Fit and Sheet Feeding

Check the printer's maximum sheet size and feed path before ordering. A4 is the smallest standard size and a practical choice for compact desktop printers; A3 and 13×19 require a printer that supports the larger format. Feed one sheet at a time if your printer requires it, and confirm the coated side before printing.

How to Use

1. Feed the sheet into your printer and print the design in mirrored mode on the coated side.
2. Apply TPU powder evenly across the wet ink and shake off the excess.
3. Cure the powder using your powder supplier's recommended settings.
4. Press at 130–150℃ for 10–15 seconds; confirm the setting for your ink, powder and fabric.
5. Peel according to the hot or cold specification.

Before Production

Before a production run, check that the sheets are flat, the coated side is clean, and the size matches the layout. Run a short test with your ink, powder and press settings, then record the settings for repeat orders.

Storage and Handling

Keep sheets flat in their original moisture-proof bag until use. If a pack has been stored for an extended period, test a short run before production.

Packing, MOQ and Custom Sizes

MOQ is 100 sheets for standard and wholesale DTF print sheet orders. Sheets are packed flat in a moisture-proof bag and a reinforced export carton to prevent bending and moisture during transit. Custom sheet sizes are available on request; small-batch mixed-spec orders are accepted. Standard lead time is 2–4 working days after order confirmation; bulk or custom orders are quoted separately.
